SSC MTS Syllabus

The Staff Selection Commission is the body which conducts examination for the recruitment of Peon, Farash, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, etc at the various Ministerial and Government Departments. So, the candidates who are interested in these job profiles must apply and crack the SSC Multi-tasking Staff (MTS) exam. The candidates who have passed the class 10th are eligible to apply for the exam.

The SSC MTS exam is carried out in two phases. The SSC MTS phase 1 exam is the qualifying exams. Only the candidates who secure to clear the phase 1 will be eligible for phase 2. Note that the SSC MTS Phase 2 marks will be considered in calculating the merit. So, prepare hard for the exam as the number of vacant seats is quite less. Every year SSC makes some minor changes in the syllabus of MTS but they are important as the competition the candidates is very stiff. There are four subjects from which the questions are put up to the students in the SSC MTS and that are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. In Paper 2 of SSC MTS, the candidates will be asked to write an essay/ letter in the languages included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. Therefore make a habit of writing essays and paragraphs. For better preparation of this syllabus, the candidates are advised to solve the previous year question papers.

So, this are the topics from different subjects on which the aspirant of SSC MTS should have a command. Also, the candidates of SSC MTS are informed that the paper will be asked in both Hindi and English. So, you have got the liability that you can answer the questions in the language of your interest. Note that the language of answers should be either in Hindi or English. No mixed choices for answering the questions will be accepted.
