The SSC MTS exam is held by staff Selection Commission for various posts like Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Mali etc. SSC MTS Exam is conducted in three phases paper 1 and Paper II & paper III. Paper 1st is objective type questions paper and paper 2 is Descriptive type question paper.Before starting the preparation of SSC MTS exam it is essential to know the exam pattern of SSC MTS. The SSC MTS exam is conducted in three phases
Paper 1 contains objective types of multiple choice questions.
The time of this exam is 90 minutes for normal candidates and 120 minutes for handicapped candidates.
The total number of questions in this exam is 100 and each question is of 1 marks so the exam is of 100 marks.

The time duration of Paper II is 30 minutes for normal candidates and 40 minutes for physical handicapped.The paper II is of 50 marks.
The paper consists one question on short essay writing/letter writing in English or any language included in the 8TH Schedule of the Constitution.
