SSC MTS Exam pattern 2019

The SSC MTS exam is held by staff Selection Commission for  various posts like Peon, Daftary, Jamadar, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Mali etc. SSC MTS Exam is conducted in three phases paper 1 and Paper II & paper III. Paper 1st is objective type questions paper and paper 2 is Descriptive type question paper.Before starting the preparation of SSC MTS exam it is essential to know the exam pattern of SSC MTS. So now we are talking about the exam pattern and selection process of SSC MTS.

 

Selection process 

The SSC MTS exam is conducted in three phases

  • Paper 1 ( online mode) 
  • Paper 2 ( pen pencil based) 
  • Paper 3 ( skill test)

 

Paper 1

Paper 1 contains objective types of multiple choice questions.

The time of this exam is 90 minutes for normal candidates and 120 minutes for handicapped candidates. 

The total number of questions in this exam is 100 and each question is of 1 marks so the exam is of 100 marks.

The exam consist of 4 section Reasoning, General knowledge, English language and numerical Aptitude.

O. 25 marks is deduced for every wrong answer. So we can say 1/4 negative marking is applicable in this exam. 

The exam will be in both languages i.e in English & Hindi.

 

Paper 2

Paper 2 includes descriptive types of questions.

Candidates pass Paper 1, then He/she is eligible to sitting  in Paper 2.

The time duration of Paper II is 30 minutes for normal candidates and 40 minutes for physical handicapped.The paper II is of 50 marks.

The paper consists one question on short essay writing/letter writing in English or any language included in the 8TH Schedule of the Constitution.

O. 25 marks is deduced for every wrong answer. So we can say 1/4 negative marking is applicable in this exam

It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify both these stages of examination in order to make it to the merit list prepared by SSC prepared at the end.
