Selection in the IAF Group X and Y trades is done by the Central Airman Selection Board (CASB), which includes Airman through the All India Selection Test (AIST) and recruitment rallies.Before starting the preparations for the Indian Air Force Examination, the full details of  syllabus of Air Force Group X & Y examination are very important.

The syllabus of the Airmen Group X and Group Y exam is similar to the CBSE's 10 + 2 syllabus. So, the candidates are advised to study in accordance with the CBSE 10 + 2 syllabus.
