# IBPS PO Prelims syllabus topic wise

To appear an exam a candidate must know what to read, a better preparation strategy helps you to score more in any exam. A candidate must know his area of strength and weakness, so he must go through the syllabus and expected number of questions in every section and divide his time to study accordingly.

The preliminary examination of IBPS PO exam consists of three sections namely English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Remember sectional timings have been introduced this time by IBPS. Means you have 20min to solve each section.

Now we will have a look on the expected number of questions from each section one by one. First of all we will discuss the quantitative aptitude section.
