Only successful candidates of the mains exams will be called for Interview. Interview is conducted to test the OLQ (Officer Like Quality), decision making quality, attitude and approach of an individual towards the bank job.
A group of 5 persons takes the interview consisting 1 head and 4 other members. Generally you will find one female member and 4 male members in the interview committee.
All of your documents will be checked at the time of interview. You must carry all of your original documents along with the photocopy, so make a check list of all the documents required and arrange them in a proper order starting from the 10th mark sheet in the ascending order.
Dresses matters a lot
Make sure you are neatly dressed and look like a proper candidate of that job profile. You should choose a proper color combination, generally light color shirt and dark color pants with matching shoes, belt and a tie for male candidate. Female candidates should try to wear light color simple dress, preferably blue and pink.
Never be late
You should reach your venue in time. If you are late then the interviewers thinks that you will reach for your job late too. So it will show a negative impact on your personality.
Practice makes a man perfect. Try to take mock interviews at your home with the help of your family members. You can also choose a mirror if you don’t find anyone to help you. Go through the some of the interview questions which were previously asked.

Confidence is the key to success but you should never be over confident. You should be very polite while entering the interview cabin. If you know the answer tell the answer, if you don’t know then simply say sorry sir I don’t know, don’t try to fool the interviewers because they are very experienced, so they can’t be get fooled so easily.
While entering the room you should greet the interview committee. Say good morning if you get your interview scheduled in the morning, good evening if your interview is scheduled in evening.
Lastly thank the interview panel before leaving the room. If interviewer shakes the hand, grip it confidently, don’t tighten the grip and don’t have a loosen grip too. It should be a gentle grip.
