According to the requirement of the government organization, the Staff Selection Commission organizes the GD Constable exam for the recruitment of candidates in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSB and RAFEL of Assam Rifles. SSC mostly announces its notification for GD Constable by the end of August. Therefore, most candidates will be thinking about preparation tips and strategies of the exam.

About the SSC GD Constable Exam

Staff Selection Commission conducts online Constable Examination for the recruitment of eligible and physically fit candidates for posts in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, SSB and Rifleman. The minimum educational qualification required for this examination is high school. However, currently most of the graduate students are also applying for this post. That's why the level of competition is increasing day by day. Written examination will be of multiple choices in nature.

c. Written exam

SSC GD Constable Exam Preparation Tips

The following preparation tips and is quite effective to pass the SSC GD Constable Examination-

#1 Timetable

Prepare a feasible timetable before starting the preparation of topics and allot sufficient time for each subject. Do not forget to allocate time for the PET exam in your timetable. Under this, it is advisable to plan 6 hours daily and strictly stick to it.

#2 Syllabus

Go through the courses described for the SSC GD exam. Do not assume that its course is similar to SSC CGL or other SSC examinations. There are many topics which are not asked in this examination. It has been observed that most candidates study courses other than the curriculum which will never be asked in this examination.

#3 Last year's question paper

For the SSC GD constable exam, solve at least the last five years' question paper and practice them all strictly as SSC asks some of the questions repeatedly. Also check-

#4 Standard books

Always study from standard books, which are specially designed for SSC GD exams. Such books include well-defined courses, all types of important questions, past year questions, shortcut moves, concepts and appropriate practices. Reading such books is considered adequate and it increases the likelihood of selection in the written examination.

#5 Physical activities

Do not forget to train yourself physically because you can sit in written examination only after clearing the PET and PST tests. Therefore, in the morning, manage at least 1 hour for physical activity and follow it on a daily basis. In the PET exam, you have to run 5 kilometers in 24 minutes. Therefore, prepare it accordingly.

#6 Be Positive

SSC GD Constable Examination is of course a competitive and tough exam. However, it’s not impossible to crack it. Just believe in yourself, practice more and more. If you have prepared well, you will definitely get through it.
