How to prepare for CTET 2019? It is one of the most critical questions asked by candidates preparing for Central Teachers Eligibility Test 2019 and in this article, we have provided tips and tricks for CTET 2019 exam preparation and tried to answer this question.

1: Check latest CTET 2019 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Before the preparation of an exam, it is important to have a clear understanding of its exam pattern and the syllabus. Candidates preparing for Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) must go through the latest syllabus & exam pattern. You can check it from the link given below

2. Analyse previous years' papers


After going through the syllabus and exam pattern, candidates should carefully analyse previous years’ papers of CTET (at least 5 to 10 years old). After going through these papers candidates can easily learn topics from which questions have been frequently asked in CTET exams. After doing this activity, candidates will also get an idea about the topics which are critical for CTET 2019.

3. Study NCF 2005 and NCERT Textbooks


NCERT textbooks are important resource for the preparation of CTET and it is also mentioned is the syllabus of CTET. NCERT textbooks are available for free of cost on the official website of NCERT (i.e., ncert.nic.in). It is observed that 5-7 questions in CTET are asked from NCF (National Curriculum Framework). Candidates preparing for CTET are advised to study NCF beside NCERT textbooks.

 4. Attempt mock test on a daily basis to identify your weak areas


Attempt one at least one mock test on a daily basis and do proper analyse your performance. Identify your weak areas and work on it.  Revise questions and mock test which you have already attempted. If you feel problem in any particular concept then take help of the video tutorials again. Don’t attempt too many mock tests at the last moment.

5.Make Habit to prepare short notes: 

Once you start your preparation, try to prepare short notes for all the important topics in each subject.

These short notes will help you to revise the entire preparation in the last movement of the exam.

Try to highlight the important points in your short notes which will help in your revision.

6.Learn the Basic Concept and Practice quizzes: 

Initially, focus on the basic concepts of each important topic especially in child development & pedagogy.

Try to solve Each subject quizzes on regular basis and improve accuracy and performance in each test.

Must attempt  CTET test series on regular basis & analyze your score of each subject.
